Program Educational Objectives

Considering the duties and responsibilities of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Department of Plant Protection, the program's educational objectives (PEOs) are defined as follows:

Undergraduate Level

  •  Agricultural Engineers equipped with professional knowledge and skills, capable of working in various sectors related to agricultural production.

  • To develop individuals who bring an interdisciplinary perspective to plant production and plant health.

  • To instill a lifelong learning mindset, enabling graduates to contribute to research and development activities.

  • To produce modern, reliable, and responsible professionals with a strong sense of accountability.

Master's Level

  • To generate scientific outputs by employing biotechnological approaches to identify, analyze, and develop sustainable solutions to agricultural challenges.

  • To prioritize interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research and education, fostering the development of highly skilled researchers with professional and ethical responsibilities to meet national and global needs.

  • To educate individuals trained in developments and techniques related to Entomology and Phytopathology, capable of serving society and contributing to the advancement and dissemination of science and technology at both national and international levels.

  • To provide the knowledge and expertise required for working in public and private sector organizations involved in Plant Protection and related fields or for offering consultancy services in these areas.
